Are there efforts to get Aegisub back into the distribution for Bionic?

FTBFS with luajit 2.1, removed from Debian testing; Debian bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=873327

I assume that it will come back into Ubuntu only if the Bug in Debian gets solved.

(Remark: FTBFS = Failed to build from source)
