Unable to select any options on a Web Video (in both Firefox and Chrome)

Asked by mrJimmymathew

Hi Team,

I'm a frequent visitor of Omegle website, but since my latest upgrade to 12.04, or with the latest software update, I'm unable to enable my Video in this website -- both in Chrome as well as in Firefox. I can, however, watch the other person, while I'm unable select any options in the pop-up window.

I tried to uninstall flash player and re-install it , as I get a Adobe flash player warning - "Allow Omegle to access your web cam and Microphone".

I can try to paste a screen shot of that page if that helps.

Request you to kindly look into this.

Regards,
Jim

It's a known bug (linked above).
Workaround using online settings manager.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the link! The workaround is pretty easy and, ultimately what
matters to me is - end of the day I should be able to configure the webcam
settings.

Thanks a tone once again. You can close the Ticket!
