No Internet Audio, after installed 10.04 LTS

Asked by Jerold McCown

Help, up dated from 8.04 to 10.04 LTS computer audio works fine but NO internet audio on any program,
Does anyone have a list of what package needs to be installed and what does not need to be opened.
I have made a mess of my computer, because of this , it would been real nice when I down loaded the 10.04 LTS it should have worked.

To: marcobra , Hello yes I have tried every thing on the Ubuntu page, I have read every thing there is to read on your web-site,
also I have three (3) days left then I will have to start over because I am changing server's the 15th of this month.
Does any of the people who wrote 10.04 LTS have any idea what software package has to be installed, guess I will have to order
a copy to find out, if some don't come up with how to fix this I will delete the 10.04LTS and reinstall the 8. because it worked
great on my computer and who cares if you guys support it or not. Not trying to make anyone mad but come on guys, you turned
this 10.04LTS loose with big problems, this is like some of the crap Bill Gates would pull, right?. Sorry but I am not new at this
I started back when the C-64 was a big deal, my problem I just don't have the time to set here and fix the problem, and I am not the only person, I have a friend in the next town, same thing no internet audio, and he knows more about computers than me.
And take a look at your long list you have. It will have to be blowing snow out side before I have the time to spend on this.
Thanks Jerold McCown PS yes I am running Mozilla Firefox.

I have been struggling with a very similar problem, and it has NOT been solved. After fiddling with flashplugin, it only gets much worse that I have lost ALL sound.
I have updated the details in my question post:
124048 ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) no internet sound.

Should we create a bug report? or have you had any luck since your last post? thank you for any information you may have.
