Youtube videos starts/stops in Ubuntu Lucid
I'm not sure if this is a Youtube,Firefox or Ubuntu problem but I've no such problem in my other Windows systems. For this PC , whether it's Firefox, Seamonkey or Opera web browsers, the youtube video sometimes finish downloading/playing but now and then it would freeze at some point.
Occasionally, I would notice the wireless networking TP-Link TL-WN321G usb adapter disconnecting and then reconnecting itself, though not everytime when Youtube freezes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player a few times but to no avail.
As for the wireless networking, I've removed Gnome NetworkManager and replaced it with wicd. The other thing I haven't done is to install the downloaded TP-Link Linux driver for the said wireless adapter because I don't know how to install it per se.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Kindly make your solution simple to follow as I'm relatively new to Ubuntu.

Can somebody kindly show me how to install the Linux driver which I've downloaded from TP-Link website for WN321G usb adapter? Hopefully, this might solve my wireless connection problem.

Sorry. The flash video problem of freezing ,showing the round circular rotation sign, is still irking me when playing youtube video or loading webpage, though not everytime. Any more thing I can do about it?
Has it got anything t do with my swap file of 773MB ext4? My ubuntu lucid harddisk partition is dba5, dba1 being win98, there is no dba2/3/4. Also I've a second harddisk that is win98 sdb1.

so you have a swap file instead of a swap partition? Should be ok. The lucid is installed in a logical partition so will start at sda6 with sda5 representing the extended partition it is sat in. You will only get sda1, sda2, sda3 and sda4 if all the partitions are primary partitions. This makes no difference to the operation and the kernel will manage the data access.
Have you tried another browser?

Thank you. Actually ,what I did was to remove the old ubuntu 8.04 and then installing 10.04 Lucid and formatting the existing swap file to ext4. Yes,I've tried other browsers like opera and seamonkey with the same results.
Can you help with this problem?
