problem executing wikr, need help debugging

Asked by andy-tom

my distro is xubuntu 17.04

I've tried multiple combinations to launch the application, but nothing ever seems to happen.

running the installed application like so:

$ adapt run -d ubuntu -r trusty -c "wickr-me" --debug

produces the output of:

+ shift
+ [ ! -z ]
+ [ ubuntu = centos ]
+ NAME=adapt-ubuntu-trusty
+ lxc list
+ grep adapt-ubuntu-trusty
+ match=| adapt-ubuntu-trusty | RUNNING | 10.154.37.108 (eth0) | fd42:adc6:1016:b55e:216:3eff:fef8:5071 (eth0) | PERSISTENT | 0 |
+ lxc exec adapt-ubuntu-trusty -- wickr-me

not very helpful as far as I can tell.

Any help debugging the launch process is much appreciated.

I can't answer your question. Since it has been up for two days and no answer, I will note two things that are confusing. What are you looking for, wikr or wickr? Two very different things. The other, is you say you are using 17.04, but in the output, it only refers to 14.04. Just noticed something else: + [ ubuntu = centos ]. When I google this, it talks about the difference between the two OS.???? Also, googling: adapt run -d ubuntu -r trusty -c "wickr-me" --debug - brings up: Your search - adapt run -d ubuntu -r trusty -c "wickr-me" --debug - did not match any documents. ????
