acpitool -A didn't work

Asked by SunBear

According to manpage, -A option shows supported Asus ACPI extensions (LCD brightness level, video out routing DSDT/acpi4asus info).

$ acpitool -A
Sorry, but no Asus ACPI extensions were found on this system.

I tested the command on an ASUS Z170M-Plus motherboard installed with it's latest BIOS version. Why weren't there any Asus ACPI extensions found ?
