Can I gain access to the Intel Graphics & Media Control Panel for my HD Graphics 4000 card from within Ubuntu 12.04

Asked by jegpad

I have a Lenovo L530 with dual boot. In Windows I can access the Intel Graphics & Media Control Panel by pressing Ctrl-Alt-PrtScr.
If I try this in Ubuntu the screen goes blank with a flashing cursor.
I wish to adjust the contrast, saturation, hue and gamma settings. These do not hold in Ubuntu, so the screen only has button controlled brightness which does not provide full adjustment and it's starting to hurt my weary eyes.
Any suggestions please?

Hi ,

if you mean something like this : http://www.phoronix.net/image.php?id=intel_hd3000_winbuntu&image=intel_win7_sandy_med

the answer is simple and short : NO.

I struggled with this long time , but no solution (at least for now)

Thanks NikTh for your reply.
Yes, that is what I mean.
How annoying. I'll see if I can find another way to alter the display settings. I think there may be a download which can adjust gamma.
Thanks again.

Or use primitive xgamma -gamma 1.0

Can you help with this problem?
