Turn off

My problem is this: when I push turn off, the computer logout me. I need help! I must unplug the computer to turn off!

Don't unplug the system. It will damage your components. You can at the very least hold the power button in for 5 seconds and it will turn off.

Does the system have a make and model?
What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a
