There is no single 'best' distibution as each has strengths and weaknesses in different situations.

actionparsnip, i have noticed that most linux distro have problems waking up from sleep mode or hibernate mode, that's what i am trying to find out what is the best version in regards to power management. do you know?

Not sure, some systems use hibernate just fine, some don't. If you are having an issue with hibernate and you can provide your make ad model of system we may be able to help

Sometimes it is a real pain to get working, some require small pieces of effort.
