10.10 netbook reports that i have 1 minute of battery when the battery is fully charged

Asked by David Burke

Every time I disconnect my power adapter from my laptop, Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook reports that there is only 1 minute of battery left and that the computer must shut down even though it also says that the battery is 100% charged.
I'm running a Dell Inspiron 910.
Please help, I don't want to go back to windows.

Log a bug with acpi

You may benefit from a BIOS update if one exists.
