Overwrite in ABIWORD

Hi
Abiword query

somehow I managed to go into an overwrite mode in Abiword. It uses a red cursor instead of the normal black one. I cannot get out of this mode and do not know how to switch it off. I tried to use default at the bottom right box but it does not work
any help anyone?

Rusty,

Why don't you try to hit de Insert button on you keyboard? That should solve your problem.
