Abinit installation guidelines in Ubuntu

I am new to Ubuntu and would like to install abinit. Is there an installation guide on how to go about this. Your help is appreciated.

It should be available in the universe repositories.

Open a terminal and run the following command to install it:

sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude install abinit
