Installation Failure

I downloaded Ubuntu 7.04 64 bit and ordered the cd

Both installations hang after these lines are displayed after the option to install.

Kernal Alive
kerrnal direct mapping tables up to 100000000 @ 8000-d000

My PC 1
AMD Athlone 64 Bit 4200+ Dual Core
Asus M2N32 SLi Delux With Wireless
Nvidia 590 Chipset
8800 GTS XFX Graphics Card
1024 MB DDR2 533
200 GB Seagate SATA
120 GB Seagate ATA
Currently have Vista Pro and XP Pro Installed on each drive.

I have tried to install on a single drive connected and freshly formatted to no avail.

My Second PC has no problem with the installation

Thanks for your question.

It seems you hit Bug #103092.

To solve your problem, it seems you'll need to add "noapic" to your boot options.
