shutdown and restar missing

Asked by fartmungerer

Just recently the option to shutdown or to restart went missing from the shutdown menu. I cannot pinpoint exactly when the issue presented itself, but I have recently installed beryl and configured it for GLX. I have looked in System>Administration>Login Window, and Show Actions is checked under menu bar. Help me please, you are my only hope.

Try looking at Question #4357.. and see if any of this helps... I'm using KDE and my other options (other than log out) have gone MIA
I think it has to do with using beryl, or compiz. I'm going to do some testing, and see what happens..

Can you help with this problem?
