Ubuntu not letting me access all my home files.

Asked by Lunar_Mix

As you can see in this screenshot:

Anytime I go into a program that I can access a tree, it shows many more files than what shows up when I open the Home folder. Is there anyway to access those files, or am I S.O.L?

Hello,

Files and directories beginning with a dot are "hidden".

You can access them in nautilus(the file explorer) by navigating to View->Show Hidden Files
