I need athreos wirelesslan driver for ubuntu

I HAVE HCL LAPTOP WHICH IS HAVING ATHEROS WIRELESS LAN. I AM UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD DRIVER FOR THAT.I NEED THE DRIVER VERY QUICKLY PLEASE HELP ME

Hello Vinoth!

If you are running Ubunu 7.04, it probably had detected the need for a restrected software (on your case, the atheros driver for wireless card).

You should connect to the internet with a regular cable and go to:
System > Admin > Restricted Driver Manager (something like this, im running a pt_br version)

There you should see your driver. Click on it so you can install.

if it dont work immediatly, try rebooting the machine without the cable.

if you dont see your driver on the Restricted Driver Manager, you driver wasnt detected by the automated driver install
from ubuntu. I dont know what to do is this happen :(
