java frostwire application take 100% processor capacity

Asked by Carlos Fabbri

I use Feisty for about 3 months and use frostwire 4.13.1 beta ( I guess) and sometimes after I started using it the processor monitor tells me that I'm using 100% of processorś capacity.
Machine is Celeron D, 2.4 GHz, 512 MB Ram, intel motherboard, ADSL Broadband ....

If I run ps -aux and identified the pid of java app and send a command Kill pid java...the high load on the processor stops immediately.

Why the java app consumes all the processor's capacity??

Any info?

thanks

Difficult to answer as frostwire is not a native ubuntu's package.
Have you tried to ask at the frostwire site:

http://www.frostwire.com/

I also see they have a new version out (4.13.1.7), perhaps this works better.
