10.04 Alpha 1 AppArmor not found

Asked by ROB3RT

I finished upgrading to Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 1. When I booted it up though, it said it couldn't find /etc/apparmor/init or something like that. The screen then starts flashing between the on screen text and blackness at random. I tried going into recovery mode, and repaired the files, but it didn't help.

I have no clue on this one. Let me know if you need any more info. I upgraded from 9.10 64bit by the way.

Log a bug. Lucid is in its very early stages and you will get a TONNE of errors like this. If you are a simple user I suggest you reinstall Karmic and wait for the release in April next year. Lucid is not ready for the masses yet and is not advised for anyone who cannot fix their own issue and / or log bugs
