standalone setup
I attempted to install v7.04 which I had burnt on a CD from an ISO image on PC User Magazine - July 2007
I wished to install it as a standalone system, as I had a spare 320g HDD in a Mobile Rack.
During the install eventually the screen froze - the computer would no longer boot even into Windows.
I finished up using "the Ultimate Boot CD" & editing the drive sectors filling with zeros.
I the reflashed the Bios & did a Clean Windows Install which eventually got me back on air.
To avoid this hassle, what can I do to set up a standalone system - on a brand new 320gHDD?
My PC is an ASUS P5B-E with an Intel Duo Core 6300 with 2g of Kingston Memory
