mp3 in Ubuntu 7.04

                        I'm Karthik Ayyagari from Visakhapatnam,India.I would like to know how can i play mp3 songs in Ubuntu 7.04.

MP3 is a restricted format. I believe that https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats will have all of the information you are looking for. If you get stuck, let us know.

go to add and remove programs...I do believe there should be a player called VLC and that can play mp3. because thats the player i use and it plays my itunes mp3

Go to Applications > Add/Remove... and install all the gstreamer additional codecs.
