How did you install it?

This is how I installed it. Bye!

Installing IE 6

The software ies4linux has made it very easy to install Internet Explorer 5 and 6 on your Ubuntu desktop.

In your terminal,

wget http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
tar zxvf ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
cd ies4linux-*
./ies4linux
Just click “OK” and the program will install IE on your Ubuntu desktop.

then all you have to do is delete the folder which the installer creates in your home folder, its not installed in any other place so you can simply delete the folder

You can see all the folders by running nautilus (or whatever file browser you use) and show hidden files (CTRL + H is the key combination in nautilus)

You can then delete the folders attributed to IES4Linux.

Job done
