mounting ntfs partition in ubuntu 9.10

Asked by karameez

I'm new to Linux. I've just installed the latest version of Ubuntu ie. Ubuntu9.10 and i'm unable to use my ntfs partitions which i had earlier while i was using Windows 7. When i open my computer i an see only a file system drive and a cd drive. It does not display the other two partitions which i had. So what should i do in order to use my ntfs partitions which i had earlier?

Installing the package ntfs-config will give you a tool to get your NTFS partitions mounted.

Can you help with this problem?
