how to setup software raid ubuntu 9.10

Hi there.

i am new to ubuntu.

I am trying to install ubuntu 9.10 and setup software raid 1 on a new machine. Ive been looking on the internet but cant seem to find a tutorial of how to setup software raid on the new ubuntu 9.10.

If anyone could link me to a good guide i would be very grateful.

just noticed i need the alternate install cd also ... was trying to working out why i could not find a RAID option on the normal one!
