Does the system boot if you leave it alone after you receive that message?
Users who have enabled encryption during installation generally receive that message for a few seconds, but the system then starts out as normal. This is less than ideal, but it seems that it will not be fixed before the next release.

Can you boot your system from a LiveCD?
Once you've booted it up, open the Disk Utility from the System>Administration menu, find your filesystem, and try to run a filesystem check on it (click the Check the File System button -- it has a picture of a stethoscope on it)
