Garmin GPS Trip & Waypoint Manager

New to this OS, I would like to use Garmin Software and MapSource Maps to set GPS for trips.

Are they native linux applications?
If not you may try using Wine:

CD's don't generally come with Linux software on them and if they do it's not great,
that might change but the general rule is that you install things through your
Add/Remove utility. Try installing QLandkarte here is a link:
http://www.getdeb.net/app.php?name=QLandkarte
It supports MapSource.
Or GpsDrive that does not support Mapsource but can download free maps so
it would be worth looking into.
