Hello,

You can find more information on dual boot here:

A default install of ubuntu will shrink the windows partition and add a new partition for ubuntu. It will also overwrite the master boot record (MBR) of the hard drive and install a boot loader called GRUB. The result is a dual boot configuration with a text menu at boot that lets you choose ubuntu or windows (and any other OS you install). The install generally works without any problems but even still you should definitely back up anything important. I've installed ubuntu 30 times or more and never had a problem but there is also operator error (and I have goofed up before). As long as everything is backed up, I wouldn't worry too much. Just be sure to read everything as you install.

Can you help with this problem?
