newbie help -- what to do about apport e-mail

I was minding my own business when a crash occurred and submitted a bug report for me. Then I get some e-mails related to my bug and someone else's. Is this just for my own information? I'm not new to computers and not exactly new to Linux, though it's been a long while. Sure has matured over the years.

It helps to read the fine print. I suppose if there is a relevant somethingy I must do, the sender will actually tell me to do some thingy.
