Does not like 9.10 splash screen, needs to change.

The program Startupmanager can change splash screen I think. You find it in Synaptic.

installed start-up manager yes. it seems to be broken thinks I used it before on 9.04 though it worked then.

seems a few things are broken with 9.10 now.

Halaliel,
Karmic includes some changes, X starts a lot earlier now, you see sequential text, bootsplash, xsplash, gdm, xsplash.

Startup manager as it was I found no longer works with GRUB 2. Found this vague line that GRUB 2 is a project in the making & a new Startup manager 2 is under-development now. So guess changing things in GRUB is not recommended. So can the developers make a update to get rid of this boot screen & give us a far better splash screen ? Come on guys this screen is ugly compared to screens used before.
