Installing KDE on Xubuntu

  i was woundering if we can install KDE/Gnome desktop environment on Xubuntu, if yes can u tell me how ?

You can install KDE/GNOME in Xubuntu by use ubuntu-desktop and/or kubuntu-desktop package

From a terminal:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

or

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

give your password and you should be rolling soon.

Ok more information

ubuntu-desktop = Gnome
kubuntu-desktop = Kubuntu

you can also use the sypnatic and search ubuntu-desktop or kubuntu-desktop
