Mouse won't work after Ubuntu Boot.

Asked by AvinashPillay

I was running Ubuntu 9.10 a couple of minutes ago. I was enabling some effects via. compiz. Then all of a sudden, my computer froze and I couldn't do anything. I restarted my computer, and since then... my mouse has not been working. It is a logitech wireless mouse. The Keyboard is working fine, but the mouse isn't. I can't even use Ubuntu since it asks for my password when I boot it, and I can't click on the type box. Please tell me how to fix this so I can use Linux!
