 Most stable Ubuntu release? Can some one tell me,please.

Probably the most stable release would be considered the Long Term Support version, Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. This version is maintained until April 2011

Made for stability are the Long Term Support (LTS) versions. The last was 8.04. The next will be 10.04 in april 2010.
The 9.04 version is also very stable. The 9.10 has still some unfixed issues.

It ou need a stable system and recent software use the 9.04, if you can live with software that is a year older, I'd recommend 8.04.
