Can't edit wiki

Of late i've been trying to edit a wiki for our loco team but in vain.whenever i log in using my laucnhpad account i do manage to get to a wiki page with my user name as the title telling me i can create a wiki and that's where i do get stuck.
Actually I'm not sure on what to do from here (what i should click on).
I've contacted guys from the loco teamlist but they tell me there is this tab under the logo that i should click but i never see it.Is it that because i don't belong to an active member team or i'm not a ubuntero?
In short what are the full qualifications and can someone please give me a step to step approach?

If I type a page in the address bar of my browser that does not exists the wiki displays a list of similar titiled pages that might be what I'm looking for and this text is displayed.

This page does not exist yet. You can create a new empty page, or use one of the page templates. Before creating the page, please check if a similar page already exists.
Create new empty page

Simply click on "Create new empty page

what i exactly click on?I mean, what (where) do i

Please try these pages: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpForBeginners for new people to the Wiki and also https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpOnPageCreation and finally https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpOnEditing to help you edit wiki pages. The best thing to do is read the material.

Just curious if you have figured out how to edit the wiki by now or you are still having problems. Can this ticket please marked as close if you have it working correctlY? If not please post an update and we will work on it for you.

I managed to edit the page, but right now I have a problem with placing a location marker at the ubuntu worldwide planet wiki page, can you please help me on this one? Thanks for your concern.
