Install Xen in Karmic Koala

What do I have to do to install xen under Karmic Koala?
I have installed the ubuntu-xen-desktop package, but
I do not find a kernel suitable for xen. Is it necessary to
compile one?
Please give a short description what to do to get xen
running.
