Divx video shows blue for red

Since 9.10 Karmic, all divx (avi) movies I try to play (using gxine, VLC media player, Mplayer media player, or GNOME Mplayer) have no red but blue instead.
I tried a few tricks from solved questions but these didn't work out.
Please help...

Im pretty sure this is a known bug. You just need to go in the settings for one of those players, and change the saturation of the blue color or something.

In Totem Movie Player 2.28.1 using using GStreamer 0.10.25 I tried Edit/Preferences/Display/ColorBalance. Hue was shifted all the way to the left. The button Reset to Defaults did the trick.
