Can I order a free cd copy to be sent to my home of Ubuntu Netbook edition?

Asked by Pule

Hello all. Well, I'm new to Ubuntu and really appreciate the system. I was curious if I could order a free copy of Ubuntu Netbook edition to be sent to my home. If not, how do I make a bootable copy of it after downloading it to my computer. I've recently received an Asus EEE PC netbook with a fried hardrive. I've removed the hardrive and purchased an 8gb Express card ssd drive that connects to the netbook via usb slot since the netbook doesn't have a cd drive. Now its working but with the desktop edition 9.04 which I believe my netbook can't run fully, kind of sluggish really. I'm hoping the netbook edition runs a little more efficient and faster but again, I have no idea how to load it onto my ssd as an os to boot onto my netbook. Currently I've started the download process for the netbook edition but am afraid I'm not going to know how to make it into bootable form for my netbook.

Any suggestions and advice welcome. Thanks in advance...
