NOT SOLVED: How to backup all settings of 9.04 before upgrade to 9.10 ?

I need to backup all settings of 9.04 including font change before upgrade to 9.10. After upgrade, I would like to restore all settings as it was maintained in version 9.04. Is this possible ?
