can I install ubuntu on sun fire V250?

hi!!!
please can somebody knows if I can install ubuntu in a SUN FIRE V250?
what version recomended ?
Will I have some problems? or what operating system recomended me? I dont have money to pay a licence

As far as I know, you can install ubuntu on it. I've found some stuff from people that have done it. Welcome to Ubuntu!

To choose a version, go to: http://www.ubuntu.com/GetUbuntu/download
There are two current long term support versions out. They are more stable versions of Ubuntu, as they are not changed as much. The two LTS releases so far are DapperDrake and HardyHeron. The next LTS release will be LucidLynx, released in April 2010. If you want the most up to date release, go with 9.10, which came out yesterday.

You will probably encounter some problems, as everyone does. There are many ways to deal with these problems though! There is an extensive forum, http://ubuntuforums.org/ , that has answers to and can answer many of your questions. There is also an irc channel, #ubuntu, on irc.freenode.net .

The best thing, Ubuntu is completely free! No money required. Also, all the software that comes with it and is available for it is free as well. No money required!
