Ubuntu para intel core 2 quad

Necesito ayuda para instalar Ubuntu en un Core 2 Quad concretamente no sé si es compatible la instalación.

I can not read Spanish, however I may be able to help you with your bug. Processors are plug and play. If you built the computer yourself or upgraded the processor it may not be compatible with you motherboard. There is one other possibility I can think of. Your processor only supports 32 bit operating systems. I need more information to be sure. If you just bought the processor contact Intel. They do a pretty job on tec support.

El core 2 quad es un procesador a 64 bit por lo que tanto el ubuntu a 32 como el 64 te funcionaran sin problemas. Si tienes mas de 3 gb de ram asegúrate de que sea el de 64 ya que los de 32 no reconocen mas allá de esta cifra.
