desktop with all packages(incl.multimedia)

I WANTED TO LOAD MY PC WITH UBUNTU 7.04, BUT I COULD NOT GET ALL MULTIMEDIAPLAYERS AND GAMES.WHEN I TRY TO LOAD OTHER PACKAGES THEY ARE NOT AVAILABE IN THE CD.SYATEM ALERTS ME TO DOWNLOAD FROM NET WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE WITH ME .CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME IN THIS REGARD.

Have you tried to install from DVD instead of CD?

If it's not enough you can search for some repository saved on CD/DVD, but sorry, no pointers for that.

apt-on-cd is a great thing, its a DVD filled with all the main packages and libraries that in the ubuntu repo's. Some are a little out of date, but with no web connection that doesnt really matter.
