Upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10 Black screen

I have Lenovo G550 with following parts: Intel Core 2 Duo P8700, Intel GM45 4500MHD Graphic card. 3Gb RAM
I have both upgraded from 9.04 and tried to start the Live CD 9.10 with and without safe graphic ACPI=OFF and so on.
Every time it blacks out when it should be the white Ubuntu logo. I hear the login sound. But I don't see nothing. Even if I try to go to a console by doing Ctrl+Alt+F1....F12.
I am pretty sure there are some Graphic Driver issue. Any fixes/workarounds?

I found a workaround from a forum. Started Ubuntu 9.10 LiveCD with boot parametre i915.modeset=0.
That fixed it. Now I am upgrading from 9.04 again and hope it will work here too. I hope there will be a stable fix without this boot option soon.
