SD Card not found in Karmic

Asked by gvnmcknz

LG X110 (MSI Wind clone), Upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10.

SD card not recognised when put in reader slot, worked fine in 9.04.

Any ideas?

OK then you need to first work out if the card is at fault or the new release:

remove the card and wait 10 seconds
pust the card into the syste and wait 10 seconds

run:

dmesg | tail

post the output here. Has the card ben in a Windows Machine? If so did you use the safetly remove hardware feature or did you just wrench the card out of the system like most users do. The safetly remove hardware step is NECESSARY to getting things working.

Last time working was in 9.04 earlier today.
Result of dmesg below.
It also fails to shut down properly, which it did before upgrade.
Thanks for your help
