How can I access the partition editor if I do not have a cd to boot from? Resize/Move selection is greyed out!

Download Gparted for USB from http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php

You can use Gparted from the repositories or install parted magic http://partedmagic.com/ in a USB booteable.
