libcurl 7.16.2 in feisty

Is there any package from libcurl7.16.2 for Feisty? The Version in the repos is buggy when using curlftpfs.

I have tried to use the version from gutsy, but my libc6 seems to have the wrong version.

libcurl is performing now a transition (due to a new so-verson) in gutsy (which might be undone again) so it's not possible to backport it.

You seem to be affected by bug #112256. Unfortunately I don't have currently an idea how to solve this.
As a bunch of packages depend on libcurl it isn't easy to update it.

Can you help with this problem?
