Asked by Al

I am using ubuntu 9.04. The internet stoped working yesterday after i installed a bunch of updates including new servers and new networks. I think i still have it set on my old wireless network it says it is getting a good signal, but when I try to click the internet it says unable to download page for every browser I try.

i have exactly the same problem. i instaled ubuntu 9.04 a few days ago, and still haven't managed to connect to the internet. it says that the connection is established, i see the strength of the wireless networks, but i can't browse, neither download plugins or anything. i am a new user of ubuntu, and maybe haven't done something correctly, but the strange thing is that the connection doesn't seem to drop, it continues to say that it is established, so i guess it's not an adopter driver problem... i'm stuck. in windows the wireless internet works fine.
