Changed OS and don't have add/remove option for ubuntu

Asked by ddr_master

Well, I changed from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and had Ubuntu 9.04 installed via Wubi, but now there is no uninstall option and the wubi-uninstall in the ubuntu folder itself won't work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wubi is not supported to run under Windows 7.
... and Windows 7 has yet to been released yet.

You could always try to run the wubi in compatibility mode.
But like I said , it's not supoprted so , it's at your own risk!

It's the evaluation copy.

I bought Windows Server 2008 R2 and was wondering if I formatted my HDD and put Server on my machine, would this maybe fix the problem?

I am trying to remove it.

I no longer want it on my machine because I don't use it anymore and it is just using up 30 gigs of valuable disk space.

Do you still have a grub menu?
If you dont have the grub menu and it justs boots directly to windows.

Right click on My computer -> Manage -> Disk
Here you can remove the other partitions that are used for ubuntu , directly from wnidows.

Can you help with this problem?
