How can I add a city to the locations, weather and time?

Right click on the clock -> Locations -> Add

In this dialogue there are a long list of cities around the world but my city is not listed there even that there are some villages (very small towns) are listed from my country but my city which it the fifth or sixth city in Saudi Arabia is not listed. How do I list it so everyone can see it not only for me I want it to be listed for all people just like others.

Hi, and thank you for your question.

It is my understanding that locations are basically for setting time zones, and you should therefore pick the timezone closest to you. For example, I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, a city of 900,000 people, and the capital of Canada, however it is not listed. The closest for me is Toronto, Ontario, with 2.5 Million people.

The idea is that certain towns represent the entire area, and you just need to pick the closest one to you.

Yes I know that certain towns represent the entire area but what if Ottawa, Ontario represent the entire area instead of Toronto, Ontario it is a mistake specially if the do not know that as in my situation.

From where did this list come from how made it?? This is the new Question.

Right click on panel>add to panel>weather report>select region & city
