Terminal services client

Asked by achapp

Hi
I would like to know some details about the terminal service client application. My official network has a windows 2000 server , terminal server with ip address 172.16.4.70. when I am connected to the same network i could log on to the server by giving the above mentioned ip .I use the rdp protocol .
But when I am connected to a different network , i could not access the server . Is there anything else to be given or configured to get access to the server . Please let me know . In both the networks , my ip is automatic . My official network has a dns server .thanks
