What application are you using to download information?

What type of information are you downloading? Text documents? Compressed archives?

What do you mean by can't access? You can't find the documents after they download or they fail to open after you double-click on them?

What do you mean external device?

Please be as detailed as possible and provide any error messages you might recieve?
