Two operating systems

Asked by Tyler

If I install Kubuntu and I already have Ubuntu will they merge and be one operating system? Or will they be two operating systems?
Also will there be a selector to choose which one to boot?

If you want to have ubuntu and kubuntu, just install the package kubuntu-desktop if you already have gnome.
You 'll be able to choose gnome or kde in gdm.

As Vincent said, you can just install Kubuntu-Desktop. You can also, if you have a spare partition, in stall Kubuntu as well. You will just have a dual boot machine.
