[karmic a6] Touchpad click disabled?

I'm testing Karmic Alpha 6 and the click of the touchpad is disabled by default.. is this what is expected in the final version?

If this is the case, means a huge usability issue and I think it should be reconsidered.

(Works fine after enable it in Preferences ->Mouse->Enable touchpad click)
